What is the maximum amount I can request?

At LEGONOMICS, we offer loans with a value of up to 40% of the appraisal of the property that appears inscribed in the guarantee, which can range from €20,000 to €300,000

Likewise, the most requested loans are usually those between €20,000 and €60,000.

How long does the loan entry process take?

The term ranges from about 15 to 30 days from the moment you contacted LEGONOMICS. The money will be available in your bank in this approximate period.

Also, if you are a company, the process is faster, it is reduced to 3 or 5 days.

Is it mandatory to pay every month?

At LEGONOMICS we offer payment by installments.

In the amount you request we can include some prepayment fees so that later you can spend a while without making the payment.

We can also offer you a grace period that covers 5 years in which you can pay only the interest while you are recovering your economic condition.

What would happen if one month you could not pay?

In these cases, it is recommended that you call us as soon as possible to find a solution.

Our specialists take all the necessary precautions so that installments can be paid normally, but if a very uncontrollable unforeseen event arises, we will need to assess the case as soon as possible to find an answer to the situation.

The loan, what interest rate does it have?

The value of the interest rate of our loans is between 10% and 16%.

It is governed by the risk of the loan: value of the property to be mortgaged, income level, amounts requested, among others.

We will contact you within 24 hours after you have completed the contact form, and the following 24 hours, we will offer you a detailed proposal with the interest rate and other relevant information about the requested loan.

Are commissions paid?

Commission expenses are included in all financial transactions. However, at LEGONOMICS we will offer you a detail of each of the amounts that appear and we will explain what each concept consists of.

Can the debt be repaid?

Yes. You can cancel the debt, whenever you want, through its amortization.

The interests will be marked by the legislation of the moment.

Currently, in case of amortization or partial or total reimbursement during the first 10 years, the compensation cannot exceed the amount of the financial loss of the lending company with a limit of 2% of the capital that is reimbursed.

When 10 years pass, the commission cannot exceed the amount of financial loss with a limit of 1.5% of the capital that is reimbursed.

Can I request a home equity loan using a home that already has a mortgage as collateral?

Yes. The money from the mortgage payment will appear added to the total you request.

For example, if you ask us for €10,000 and you have a mortgage of €20,000 to pay, at LEGONOMICS we offer you a loan of €30,000, so you can pay off the mortgage you have pending.

In these cases, we can only grant a loan with up to 35% of the value of the property.

Can you request a loan with the property or home of a relative as collateral?

Yes. In this case, the relative has to agree to the conditions, and the feasibility study of the loan has to be positive.

Can you group debts with ASNEF or RAI?

Yes. Despite appearing in the RAI or ASNEF records, if you have a stable income and you also have a property as collateral, that does not entail charges or with an outstanding mortgage that is below 30% of its value, at LEGONOMICS we will be able to study your case and the possible viability of the credit so that you can group said debts and have only one loan payment that is usually easier to pay.

We cannot help you if the property is mortgaged, and you have a sum of charges to pay plus the loan if it exceeds 40% of the value of the home.

Why do you pay less per month?

When you reunite the debts in a single payment you can organize yourself better, and you also benefit from lower interest rates, such as mini credits or credit cards.

How are debts reunited?

If you have a property that is free of encumbrances or with a pending mortgage of less than 30% of its value, you have a stable income and you are under 65-70 years of age, fill out our form and we will contact you to study your case

When the credit is granted, you have to cancel the debts that you want to group together within a period that will be informed to you before signing the process.

When I sign this operation, can I refinance the debt?

Yes. It is a fairly recurring practice.

When all your debts have been unified, and you no longer appear in the ASNEF or RAI registry, you can now seek bank refinancing.

Can more money be included in the loan apart from the reunification of debts?

Who can benefit from the Second Chance Law?

The Second Chance Law is designed for individuals, families and self-employed professionals.

The total estimate of debts cannot exceed five million euros (5,000,000 euros).

Previously, only legal persons or companies could benefit from the privilege of requesting the exoneration or forgiveness of their debts.

This Law allows individuals, families or the self-employed who cannot meet their financial obligations to benefit from the partial or even total forgiveness of their debts in order to start from scratch, without charges.

What do I have to do to benefit from the Second Chance Law?

It is necessary to hire a lawyer specializing in Financial Law to process the entire process.

The Law offers many solutions and privileges to the debtor, but that is of no use if professional advice is not sought in order to take advantage of these aids in the best possible way.

We, as lawyers specialized in Financial Law, take care of everything.

How much will it cost me to take advantage of this Law to have my debt forgiven?

Our role, as lawyers at the debtor’s service, is to ensure that hiring our services is not just another expense, but rather an investment to provide solutions that provide much more benefit than cost.

During the Second Chance Law process, the debtor must not pay his creditors, interest will be paralyzed and legal proceedings cannot be filed against him.

Thus, the Law makes it easier for the debtor to pay the fees of his lawyer, the notary and the fees of the mediator or bankruptcy administrator, which are the minimum expenses necessary to obtain the benefits provided by this Law.

How do I start to benefit from these grants?

Initially, the debtor, through his lawyers, must try to reach an amicable agreement with his creditors during a period of 2 months.

In this process, the debtor will be permanently accompanied by professionals who will look after their interests, avoiding situations of abuse.

It will be about reaching a global agreement with all your creditors that is really viable and allows you to live with dignity.

Especially avoid worsening the payment conditions of the debts, applying abusive commissions or interest to the debtor.

What happens if a viable amicable agreement is not reached with my lenders?

This is where the Law provides the main benefits for the debtor.

For this reason, it is in the interest of lenders to reach a fair and viable payment agreement that can involve forgiveness of up to 50% of debts and payment in installments of the rest in up to 10 years.

If an agreement is not reached in these terms, the consequences provided by the Second Chance Law are the possible forgiveness of all personal debt.

Are all debts really forgiven?

You can get all debts forgiven, even those linked to an asset such as a mortgage or a vehicle.

However, in relation to the debt with the Administration (Treasury, Social Security…), the forgiveness is not total but partial.

In these cases, you can get forgiveness of up to 70% of the interest and penalties, which in most cases represents a very large part of the debt, and the debtor can pay the rest in installments.

Starting in mid-2021, the debt with the Administration could be fully forgiven.

The debt related to child support, necessary for their support, cannot be forgiven.

What are the necessary requirements to be able to benefit from the Law?

Fundamentally there are two:

  • That the debtor no longer has money or assets of sufficient value to meet his debts.
  • That said debtor has shown to act in good faith.
  • What does it mean to be a bona fide debtor?

    The requirements to be considered a debtor in good faith and therefore be able to benefit from debt forgiveness are:

  • That, before going to bankruptcy, they have tried to reach an out-of-court agreement with the creditors.
  • That you have not been found guilty in the bankruptcy. In other words, that the debt that causes the insolvency has not been deliberately and maliciously caused by the debtor himself.
  • That, in the ten years prior to the petition for bankruptcy, the debtor has not been benefited again by the Second Chance Law and that he has not been convicted of crimes against property, against the socioeconomic order, of documentary falsification, against the Public Treasury and Social Security or against the rights of workers.
  • That, in the four years prior to the request for the competition, the entrepreneur has not rejected a job offer “adequate to his capacity”.
